The Kinross Primary Parent Council promote the school and strengthen links with parents and the wider community by organising the annual Halloween Parties, “providing tea and sympathy” on the first day of school for parents of children starting at Kinross Primary, planning and running the Annual School Fayre, planning various sponsored events, liasing with teachers and other staff on how to take forward issues raised by parents.
Parent Councils are formed under the basis of legislation set out in the "Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006"
